[Context]
National elections are currently taking place in India through early May, and a
recent poll indicates that 70% of Indians are dissatisfied with current
situation in India, and the majority would prefer that the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) (바라티야 자나타 당) lead the next government. BJP launched a national
anti-corruption movement and is running a campaign on the premises of bringing
economic prosperity in India. BJP is led by its prime minister candidate Narendra Modi (나렌드라 모디), a prominent icon, who views India as a Hindu nation, with
religious minorities as a second-class citizens. Incidents of mass violence
against Christians have mostly taken place in states ruled by BJP. The worst series of anti-Christian
attacks took place in Orissa in 2008, where over 100 Christians were killed,
close to 5000 Christian homes were destroyed, and at least 264 church buildings
were desecrated. Women, village pastors and home churches are generally
targeted, and it is estimated that at least 150 attacks targeting Christians
took place last year. With the
predictions that BJP will win the general election, there are increasing fears

“모든 통치와 권세와 능력과
주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고 또 만물을 그의 발 아래에 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의
머리로 삼으셨느니라 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만함이니라” (엡 1:21-23)

이 말씀을 인도의 교회 에게 선포합니다.
인도의 불안정한
정치와 받을 핍박으로 인해 염려하고 두려워하는 교회에게 하나님께서 말씀하십니다, 모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 이름을 뛰어나게
하셨습니다. 또 만물을 예수님의 발 아래에 복종하게 하셨고 예수님을 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨습니다.
인도의 교회는 예수님의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 하나님께서 인도의 교회를 충만하게 하실 것을 예수 그리스도의
이름으로 선포합니다.
[Spiritual
Watch] The enemy is plotting to hinder the expansion of the Kingdom of God in
India, by taking political control emphasizing “clean” government and economic
prosperity, promoting Hinduism to keep India from disconnecting from its
tradition, and infusing anti-Christian beliefs among its people. In addition,
in the midst of uncertainty and political instability, the enemy is creating an
atmosphere of panic and anxiety among Christians by making them fear possible
persecution.
However the
Divine Conspiracy states that India will not only have economic prosperity, but
that the land of India will be restored by the blessing upon God’s children in
India. Although the opposition may
seem to take control, God has all the authority, power and dominion in India.
Church must not let its heart be troubled by persecution but trust God and pray
confidently that through the affliction, God desires to raise devoted
Christians who will stand firm against the opposition, and not fear death of
the body, but willingly face eternal life in heaven.
[기도문] 인도의 선고가 하나님의 뜻 가운데 무사히 잘 마치고 인도 성도들에게 큰 믿음에 은혜를 하나님께서 허락하시기를
기도합니다. 인도의 어떤 당이나 어떤 지도자가 새워지던 그것은 바로 하나님의 계획 속에 있으며 하나님께서
허락하심을 인도의 성도들이 믿게 하시고; 한달 넘게 진행 되는 선고가 평화롭게 마칠수있도록 기도하시고;
모든 권세와 능력과 주권을 가지신 하나님께서 인도를 통치하시고, 인도의 성도들을
모든 핍박 가운데서도 지키고 보호하실 것을 인도의 성도들이 믿게 하시며; 그래서 핍박과 죽음 앞에서도 십자가에
달린 예수님을 기억하고 감사하며 믿음을 지키게 하나님의 은혜가 인도 성도들에게 부어 지기를 기도합니다.
